Here at CosMedics, we LOVE yoga! Kenna Kaklin, our wonderful Yoga Instructor joins us twice a week during our lunch hour to guide us through a practice designed just for us! We look forward to this every week and look and feel better than ever before!
Many people say that true beauty comes from the inside out; that health and happiness has a way of radiating outwards to the surface. Yoga is a process of going inwards, a way of connecting to this inner beauty, and allowing your true potential to shine through. By combining different body postures with breath, the body and mind has the opportunity to cleanse, purify, and heal itself. Yoga is an activity that benefits anyone who is willing and interested. Physically, yoga helps tone, lengthen, and strengthen the muscles which can contribute to the sculpting of the body. It also helps to loosen muscles that have been tightened by inactivity or stress, which enhances flexibility, posture, and freedom of movement. Psychologically, yoga calms the mind, relieves stress, improves sleep, sharpens your focus and increases your ability to stay grounded.
When Kenna begins yoga with people, she always starts by asking them what their intention is for doing yoga. As yoga is both a science and an art, it has the ability to improve all aspects of one’s self; body, mind and spirit. If you are interested in yoga, yoga is available to you, whatever your age, activity level, or understanding of this time-tested practice. Kenna works with children and seniors, inactive people and professional athletes. She has certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Sattva and Yin styles of yoga and is able to design a program that will support you in manifesting your intention, like she does for us twice a week, here at CosMedics!
